A feedback request is organized around four main elements.
Title, category and labels
Those are the first things that users see when browsing the list of requests.
- Title: you want it to be as original as possible to raise interest
- Category: this allows to categorize requests so that users can filter on whatever they're intersted in
- Labels: You can optionally add labels to further help users know what your request is about before reading its...
Description
This is where you'll provide the context behind your request, so that users understand what you expect from it. Be as thorough and detailed as possible so that honswerers have as much information as possible to provide you with customized and adequate feedback.
If, for instance, you're wondering why you're not landing second dates, describe how your typical first dates occur, the topics you bring to the table, how you feel, etc.
Media
Media are an optional way to add relevant information to your request. Only add them if they are relevant to your request. For instance, if you're wondering whether you should get an aesthetic operation, you should provide honswerers with images of the body part involved.
Questions
Your request for feedback may include multiple questions, all related to the same topic. This allows you to elicit a thorough feedback, by inviting the honswerers to think about your request from multiple angles.
For instance, if you're wondering whether you should apply to a "My country has got talent"-type of show, after providing users with a video of your performance you might want to ask the following questions:
- What did you feel when you saw me? with the answers possible among the following options: "Pleasure", "Boredom", "Admiration", "Rage", "Nothing at all"
- On a scale of 1 to 5, where 5 is for the best contestants you've ever seen, what grade would you give me? with a question of type rating
- What should I work on to improve my performance? as a free text question.
